THIS STORY SHOW US A FUTURISTE VIEW OF 60'S SCI-FI MOVIES. ALTHOUGH ITS SPECIAL EFFECTS ARE A LITTLE BIT FAKE, SOMETIMES IT HAS SOME REAL PREDICTIONS.
IT TALKS ABOUT A WEAK SOCIETY WHO LET THE GOVERNMENT RULE ALL OF ITS MOVEMENTS AND DECISSIONS. THIS GOVERNMENT DON'T LET PEOPLE READ BECAUSE THEY THINK READING MAKE PEOPLE SUFFER AND HAVE BAD FEELINGS (ACCORDING TO THE GOVERNMENT) SUCH AS SADNESS AND HATE. THE FIREMEN DEPARTMENT IS IN CHARGE OF BURN ALL OF THE BOOKS THEY FIND. THEY ARE CAREFULLY TRAINED TO LOOK FOR BOOKS WHEREVER THEY ARE HIDDEN. IT DOESN'T MATTER HOW CREATIVE THE PEOPLE CAN BE, THEY ARE ABLE TO FIND THE BOOKS.
MR. MONTAG, THE MAIN CHARACTER, IS A FIREMAN, WHO HAS GOTTEN A BRIGHT CAREER IN HIS JOB. HE IS HAVING A PROMOTION WHICH IS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT THINGS IN HIS LIFE BUT ONE DAY HE MEETS A GIRL WHO MAKES HIM CHANGE HIS MIND. HE STARTS READING IN SECRET BUT HIS WIFE, A WEAK MIND WOMAN WHO IS UNABLE OF HAVE HER OWN THOUGHS (IT'S MY OPINION) ACCUSES HIM WITH THE FIREMEN AND HE IS GOING TO BE CAUGHT BUT HE RUNS AWAY.
THE MOVIE SHOWS HOW THE GOVERNMENT, IN A DESPERATE WAY TO SHOW PEOPLE ITS POWER, SAYS THAT MONTAG HAS BEEN CAUGHT ; MEANWHILE HE IS HIDDEN IN A FOREST WITH HIS NEW FRIEND FIGHTING FOR DON'T LET THE WRITTEN TREASURES GO WITH THE FIRE.....
I REALLY LIKE THE SENSE OF THIS MOVIE BECAUSE IT SHOWS THAT WE ARE THE OWNERS OF OUR THOUGHS AND WE HAVE TO FIGHT FOR THEM. I DIDN'T LIKE THE FAKE SCENE WHEN THE POLICEMEN ARE FLYING OVER THE LAKE LOOKING FOR MONTAG, IT MADE ME LAUGH!!!

you as entertained as ever! I really enjoy reading your texts.
ReplyDeletewith great reverence I recommend you to check some misuses:
"the story show....", "futuriste","a weak society who....", "this government don't...", "firemen department", "thoughs".
In order to improve it you should precise the meaning of "real prediction" and to write a comma after "(it's my opinion)".
respectfully,
Franklin Alvarez.
thanks Franky, you know I am always ready to hear your advices. don't worry I am really happy you have read my texts. that little mistakes show me I am sometimes a little bit careless. Thanks dear, hugs :)
ReplyDeleteHey Frank, are you sure it's "entertained"? I think you actually meant "entertaining".
ReplyDeleteVivi:
Buahaha! everybody laughs at the flying-cops scene, these are terrible special effects. Stanley Kubrick's "2001, an Space Oddissey" is nearly as old and it's full of ass-kicking visual effects.
Very nice review. by the way.
Please dear, try not to use capital letters all of the time nor to use strange font colours. For us it's ok to read that way but for people who wear glasses or just for some people it'll be hard to read.
ok dear, I will take into account, thanks.hugs
